Precious-Metals Recovery
Catalyx Recycling collects, processes and trades spent catalytic converters and precious-metal-bearing scrap — turning scattered material into refinery-grade, fully assayed product. Transparent pricing for sellers. Dependable supply for refiners.
What we do
Catalyx sits in the middle of the precious-metals supply chain — sourcing material, preparing it to a known, priced specification, and delivering it to the refiners who recover the metal.
We buy whole converters and precious-metal scrap from scrap yards, dismantlers, dealers and collectors.
We de-can, mill and homogenise the material, then sample and assay it to an exact precious-metal content.
We settle assayed material to the world's leading refiners on transparent, metal-backed terms.
Value is won in the middle: accurate sampling and assay is what turns scrap into a fairly-priced commodity.
How it works
A disciplined, documented chain of custody — so every kilogram is priced on what's truly inside it.
Material is received, logged to your contract and weighed under a clear, auditable record.
Ceramic substrates are removed from their shells and milled to a uniform powder.
The lot is blended and a representative sample is drawn under strict protocol.
XRF for a rapid read and advance payment; ICP-OES wet chemistry for final, precise settlement.
You're paid on real metal content; material moves on to the refiner for recovery.
Materials we handle
Whole and de-canned units from cars, vans and light trucks.
DPFs, SCR units and spent industrial process catalysts.
Ceramic and metallic substrate, grindings and precious-metal-bearing residues.

Who we serve
Supply side — sellers
Demand side — refiners
Why Catalyx
Anyone can buy a converter. Few can tell you — and prove — exactly what's inside it. That accuracy is where value is protected.
XRF and ICP-OES analysis target a margin of error under 5% — capturing value that per-unit buyers leave on the table.
Clear weights, documented sampling, and settlement on real metal content. You see how the price is built.
Built for heavy, continuous material flow — de-canning, milling and sampling discipline at real volume.
Local sourcing across our regions, settlement through the UAE, and direct lines to tier-1 refiners.
KYC, export permits and traceability from day one — the paperwork refiners require, handled properly.
Advance payment on XRF, final settlement on ICP-OES — and metal-account options to manage price risk.
About Catalyx
Across Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa, vehicle fleets are growing quickly — yet much of the precious metal in end-of-life catalysts still leaves through informal, opaque channels. Catalyx Recycling was built to change that: to bring transparency, technical rigour and refinery-grade standards to a trade that has long lacked them.
We operate as a two-entity group — a processing and sourcing base in Uzbekistan and a trading and settlement entity in the UAE — so we can serve sellers locally while settling with global refiners cleanly across borders.
Sourcing, de-canning, milling, sampling and assay operations serving Central Asia.
Cross-border trading, refiner settlement and metal-account management.
